Annual Artist Freelance Budget/Expenses Template

My personal Excel spreadsheet can track your budget/income/expenses annually. This sheet also includes what you should put away for freelance taxes and a section in the budget/expenses specifically for your freelance work that you can track for tax deductions.

Each section is broken up like this:

• Summary: Graph that shows your overall Income, Expenses, and Budget across the year.
• Freelance Revenue: Broken into eight different revenue streams, this part of the sheet shows your revenue, what you make each quarter, and how much you should put away for taxes.
• Budget: Where you can budget all of your monthly expenses for the whole year. It's a great way to see how much you spend on each category for an entire year. There's a section at the bottom for possible tax-deductible expenses.
• Expenses: Fill out in real-time as you make a purchase. There's a section at the bottom for possible tax-deductible expenses.

I created this sheet to navigate my finances while working a full-time job while doing freelance work, and I hope it also helps you the same way it helped me! Please only edit the white cells.
